"The Mysterious
and the Manifest Share the Same Source, It is called Darkness"
~ Lao Tzu ~

Astrologically speaking, it is said
the ancient Greeks were the first to develop an elaborate system of linking
animals (inclusive of humans), colors, body parts, metals, plants, stones and other
things with the Moon, Sun, the known planets and the twelve zodiacal constellations
of their time. Down through the ages however, no single authoritative system of
these linkages has ever been established.
It is funny, in a non-humorous way,
how we humans create what we want to believe and then believe what we have created.
These created beliefs are often based in our feeling of "lack" rooted in our
feeling of "fear". If you follow our recorded history as a species you may begin to
realize how we perpetuate these "feelings" as seen in who we choose to control us,
what we choose to be entertained by or in how we choose to express ourselves
verbally and physically, one unto the other.
For this sharing the focus will be
for the Moon and Darkness, two areas that are often associated with things to
fear through a lack of information, collectively speaking. Simply stated, the
Moon rules the night in the presence of the Sun, just as the Sun rules the day in
the presence of the Moon bringing validity to the phrase "there is light in
darkness and darkness in light". Darkness can mean many things to different
individuals and utilized accordingly but darkness itself holds no fear. Darkness
is simply the Unseen or that which has yet to manifest be it life, thought, dream,
idea, goal, subconscious patterns, feelings, or one's unfolding potential.
The Moon, Sun and Planets align for
purpose as they were created to fulfill within Wholeness (the Universe). Where
the Sun is used to symbolize Masculine Energy, the manifest, the physical or
conscious awareness, the Moon is used to symbolize Feminine Energy, the unmanifest,
the non-physical or unconscious awareness. Fair to state that from a scientific
perspective there are no answers available as to the specific manner in which the
Moon's gravitational and magnetic effect influences the ebb and flow within all
life individually speaking, other than it does. Spiritually speaking answers are
available all ways.
What rests beneath the surface of
our Mind's fragmentation, our separation individually and/or collectively
speaking? The answer to this mystery rests within the absence of information with
regard to knowing the Self. One way to bring this answer forward is to explore
the Natural Realm, that aspect of our environment that has been overlooked,
ignored or forgotten inclusive of the Moon's influence Energetically speaking.
Investigating this missing information will lead you from a lack of knowing
(darkness) into knowing (light) as may be applicable to your own uniqueness
internally as well as externally.
As you begin to seek clarity by
choosing to move with the rhythm of the Universe you will begin to understand
the forces of Nature at work in your life and you will be able to take a more
active role in co-operative exchange with them. By opening your Spiritual self
and Mind to the basic principles found within this part of yourself, you will
begin to experience less fear through the appropriate use of what is available
to you in any given moment, night or day.
