You may recognize
Divine Spirit as Great Mystery, Great Spirit, God, and Goddess or by
other expressions like the Breath of Life, Life Energy, the Holy Ghost
or Holy Spirit, or by whatever name is personally made known to you.
For the intent of this sharing the term used will be Divine Spirit.
Each step we travel with
and through the dreams of others, we are being led by and to the eternal,
intelligent fusion that is Divine Spirit. We are being led to let go
of old ideas, self-created illusion and belief systems that no longer
work. Divine Spirit withdrawn draws out every aspect to be itself,
invisible, it creates all visibility and yet intangible, it touches all.
Divine Spirit exists
within All Life from center to center through Oneness and access
in any given moment rests within self and within all other living aspects
of creation regardless of form. It is in this manner we are created in
likeness, and it is in this way all life is connected, interdependent,
interrelated and unified one unto the other, spiritually speaking.
There is no actual point
on the life-journey specifically designed for "awakening" to that which
we are in form. Perhaps within the midst of some type of misery or pushed
on by the storms of life in general or getting through one more day of
this or that, one is motivated to ask of self "is this all there is?"
For a shift to take place, it can be this simple.
Life is so much more than
what we might have been led to believe. It is so much more than working,
gathering and keeping what society uses to judge success or failure,
eating, partying, and/or just moving from hand to mouth in any number of
ways available. Reaching that point, as a result of societal saturation,
can be its own blessing in disguise simply stated.
Perhaps as a result of this
"asking" in the moment of deep rooted frustration or dissatisfaction with
things in general we begin to "awaken" to the realization that by living
our reality through the senses alone, we have created our own separation.
Separated mind and body from Divine Spirit where no separation actually
exists. By living our lives in this manner we have become immersed in all
things material with or without conscious awareness. We have placed
ourselves in a position of always reaching for salvation in one form or
another forgetting that "everything we need" already rests within.
It is said the only way
Divine Spirit, in any aspect of expression, can communicate with humans
in an understandable manner is through Nature. Only by intent and focus
for more meaning to our lives can we come to understand the language of
the Natural Realm. By traveling the metaphoric circle of our existence
expressed through cycles, seasons and their elements we can begin to
remember what we have forgotten and begin living our own dreams.
The directive to "know the self"
or "to thine own self be true" has in fact much deeper significance than what
may at first come to mind. By choosing to move with the flow of Divine
Spirit, as exemplified in Nature, we will be enabled to hear our own unique
song and fulfill our own part in the Melody of the Universe, in Harmony with
All Our Relations.
